Aren’t they all meaningless? Whether it’s open at USAV GJNC or a one day at MDJRs, at the end of the day it’s still just kids’ sports. If you don’t like Orlando, that’s fine, but different strokes and all that. Maybe the OP is a Disney Vacation Club member and wants to combine volleyball with a family vacation?  I personally don’t care much for Orlando either, but I do prefer it over Las Vegas which USAV seems to go back to every few years. [/quote]

There are different degrees of meaningless. I can swallow local and regional tournaments. However, pretending that we are all super athletes who have a purpose in going to Nationals is beyond ridiculous. It started when everybody got a participation trophy, now we are all athletes who compete on the National stage. 90% of the teams going to the AAU Nationals have no reason to be there. [/quote]
