In MoCo, add Sandy Spring Falcons.

There are also many outside of MoCo. Join one of the Maryland travel baseball Facebook groups and look for tryouts according to your son’s age. Or post your son’s age, position, etc.

Most tryouts happen in June, not late summer.

Talk to other parents. The two orgs you mention in your OP can be polarizing and yield really different experiences, depending on the coach and your experience with the top- level men who run the business. I would not recommend either.

OP here--We are new to the area (North Bethesda), so don't have parents to talk to about different organizations. The two I mentioned in my post were two that came up in internet searches. Can you elaborate on the polarizing/yield really different experiences comment? DS is a possibility for playing D3, but I would say D1 is unlikely. [/quote]
