RE styling, you have to shave the area to be lasered, so you just shave it the way you want it.  You do need to tell the clinician where your outer boundary of hair was prior to shaving, though, so that they extend the treatment out far enough.

IMO, it does not hurt as much as waxing.  But, like waxing, it hurts more the first time than subsequent times.  You also may have red inflamed skin and/or red bumps for a couple days after the first treatment, so be aware of that if you are getting ready for a special occasion.[/quote]
