I understand there will likely be a pretty large group of current Stoddert 5th graders heading to Hardy for 6th. What about 5th graders from other in-bounds Hardy feeder schools? Any sense of your numbers?
What is "a large group" exactly? The lotteries haven't even happened yet, which makes your post look suspiciously boostery.
What do lotteries have to do with current fifth graders going to their matter of right MS?
Firstly, because that isn't necessarily their matter of right MS. There are OOB students at Stoddert, if there are changes to the boundaries and/or OOB process, their situations could change. More importantly, because if they get into Latin or Basis, the calculus will very likely change. Parents are notorious for encouraging each other they'll all be in it together, and then leaving as soon as there is a better opportunity available.
