Do not wear wide-leg trousers to travel. When you go to the bathroom, they can puddle on the floor and soak up whatever is there. A long-sleeved t-shirt will help when it gets cold if you don't feel like carrying an additional sweater. Also, wear your softest bra. Slather on your thickest facial moisturizer before leaving the house. Long flights can be so dehydrating to your skin that it can hurt for days afterwards. Carry wet wipes and spray hand sanitizer to help you avoid catching illnesses. After a long flight, get a massage or use an exfoliating body scrub in the shower to help shed the airplane bloat more quickly.
WTF?
I'm guessing the PP is referring to how a self massage with an exfoliating scrub can increase blood flow, which reduces bloating. Same idea with getting a massage. A little bit of yoga, a short hot shower, and moisturizer application will have the same effect. I often incorporate short yoga sessions into travel because it helps so much for dealing with both travel stress and also the physical discomfort of sitting on a plane for 6+ hours or sleeping in a bed that is not your own. I have a bunch of 10-15 minute yoga or zero-prop workouts saved to my YouTube account that I can easily do in a hotel room for this exact purpose.
