[/quote] Yes, there is airplane noise over NOVA areas of Arlington, Mclean even GF. But it's not constant, at least it's not as bad as it was some years when they sent all the flights along a few paths above NOVA residential areas and far from the river. This last year it hasn't been as terrible, although some days or hours it can be bad depending what paths they use. Like PP says, it's super hard to avoid airline traffic near you no matter where you live in DMV[/quote]
