We used to have a charter amendment that required a unanimous vote to increase spending faster than inflation and growth but then Andrew Friedson sponsored an amendment to fix the tax rate, so the county could increase revenue faster by capturing property appreciation. When he campaigned for the charter amendment, he lied to us and said a unanimous vote would be required to raise the rate. [/quote]
