I'd skip Bogota unless you want a big city experience. Medellin gives you that and a lot of culture. I recommend looking at a travel company to help you plan your trip. That way you'd have English speaking guides who know where to go and what to avoid. Particularly in the coffee region. There are some amazing hikes that we never would have found on our own. [/quote]
