Announced cast includes: Helena Bonham Carter, Kumail Nanjiani, Rosie Perez, Steve Coogan, Sandra Bernhard, Heather Graham, and Chris Messina. Those are the "big" names. There's also like ten more announced cast members including younger, less well known actors (including AJ Michalka, who I like) and French actors who will likely be playing the staff at the hotel.

Mike White has also said in a recent interview that this season is funnier than Season 3, which was more serious because the focus was on religion/spirituality.

I have liked all the seasons, but feel season 3 was the most uneven season, weighed down by some less interesting plotlines. But I'm a big Mike White fan and excited about a season with more comedy, that maybe explores celebrity and art. Plus another gorgeous hotel backdrop and some snotty by lovable French hotel workers.[/quote]
