Most of the AAP kids come from Waples Mill, which is a very different demographic. When j worked as a sub I went to HW a few times, and subbing for the grade level was no different than subbing at one of the nearby Title 1 schools. Lots of behavior problems. It’s also worth noting that if your child gets into AAP while at HW for the magnet program, they are ineligible to attend AAP there and have to go back to the their base school or center, or stay in HW as a non level IV student.
