[/quote] +1 The opening of a new school always attracts top talent. They will choose a capable, experienced principal who will have top pick of folks interested in being department heads. As a set they will bring with them some of the top teachers. The initial hiring for new schools happens before involuntary transfers are identified and the general transfer season begins. There may also be a secondary process where involuntary transfers from schools losing population (WJ) are placed at the new school.[/quote]
