A. Move to a $2+ million home in McLean or Arlington where you can have excellent public schools and short commutes to work
B. Stay in Alexandria and go the private school route.

Our original plan was to do private school for the short-term and then move when the kids are a little older. Now I think it may be better to bite the bullet now and just move before the kids start elementary school. I moved around a few times when I was a child and hated leaving all my friends.[/quote]
