Mhhmmm. Yet on the real estate forum people frequently talk about how they would *never* live in Virginia because it's too (fill in the blank with your favorite derogatory stereotype). Seems at least the police here are not into letting people drive 110 mph.
What? Just because you don't know about it, it doesn't mean it's not happening in NOVA: https://www.reddit.com/r/nova/comments/1ohs1bb/street_racers/ https://www.reddit.com/r/nova/comments/nn90s6/street_racing_idiots_at_rt_28_and_50_interchange/ https://www.reddit.com/r/nova/comments/qulrkg/fairfax_co_police_investigate_latenight_saturday/ https://www.reddit.com/r/nova/comments/1nts6s4/multiple_accidents_on_beltway_following_auto/
Street racing in Reston is different than taking over the intersection of Connecticut Avenue and East West Highway near country clubs and one of the richest neighborhoods in Montgomery County to do donuts at high speeds while cops watch helplessly. You know that too. This is the equivalent of some thugs taking over Washington Street and Route 7 in Falls Church City and doing donuts at 110 mph while the Falls Church cops sat there and did nothing, which has never happened and will never happen because VA is not a failed state.
