If it gets that much worse, a lot of people will be hurting (think of all the freight/shipping in a big country like the US). My friend in Norway said gas is ~ 9 $USD/gallon now, but followed up with this stat - "in other news 98.4% of all cars sold in norway in march were pure EVs". They've been far ahead of most nations with EV adoption, but maybe we can at least make a decent start down that path. [/quote]
