Ugh. Despite long sleeves, long pants (both elastic at the ankles and wrists), one of the little buggers made it onto my leg. It did die while attached so f- him. LOL. Sent it to TickLab in PA to see what it's carrying, which will help me get a feel for what's going on with our wildlife. If carrying disease, doc will give me Doxy. Better to test it first as it gives me an idea re: what's being carried in our local area. Today I uncovered all the step stones in the side garden that the past landscapers couldn't bother to groom around  This time I wore my rubber garden boots and a light nylon jacket. Jacket is now in the wash and I've showered. Hopefully there will be no repeat ticks.
Really? You think it is your landscapers fault that a tick crawled on you? Lol. Ok. I saw a tick crawling around in my dog's top knot (she's a poodle, this is the poof of hair on the head) last week. They've been out and about for a while now.
Not at all. I think if I pay a landscaper to mow and groom my garden, they should not ignore things like stepping stones. Tick came from picking up debris around the house.
