If you're not sexually active or not having any gynecological issues, it really isn't necessary. The comparison to not seeing a cardiologist or neurologist if you're not having issues makes sense. A woman has a heart and a brain just as much as she has reproductive organs, and a PCP can handle garden variety issues that don't require a specialist.[/quote]
