[/quote] Obviously I think my way is better. I think he's making it harder on himself. But mostly I just don't get why he does it. He can be efficient and motivated at other times (when he is going somewhere alone) but the minute the kids are in the mix it's just directionless procrastination. It is strange to me that his approach is so diametrically different depending on whether he's leaving alone or with kids. When we go somewhere as a family, I will push us to get going so that we leave on time, but in that situation he will actually motivate to get ready to go as well (and help kids get ready). So it's not like he doesnt' know how to do it. But when led to his own devices he just sits around waiting for two kids under 8 to ready themselves and, I guess, announce it's time to leave. Which will never, ever happen, so they all just sit around the house saying they are leaving for hours. [/quote]
