The rep said I won’t know for sure until I file my claim 30 days prior, which makes absolutely no sense because how could I possibly know that? The one thing the rep did say was I don’t technically get maternity leave through my contractor, only short term disability which is 6 weeks if I give birth vaginally.

I’m reached back out to HR to get to the bottom of this, so I’m just waiting now.
