Not sure about the transit options, I'll bet they have a ski resort bus from MXP.[/quote] Turin airport (TRN) is closer than MXP to Cervinia by about 45 minutes, but not sure about buses, etc to the ski area. It's a smaller airport, so fewer flights, but may want to look at that also, since you will have to stop no matter what if going there from the DC area (there are no nonstops to Milan from DC).[/quote]
