In the beginning Kidman is very quiet and whispery. It was bizarre and wrong for the character. In the first few episodes there was way too much Jamie Lee Curtis overacting and ruining the character of the sister. By the 4th and 5th episodes, it settles down and begins to be more interesting. I think it is more realistic re the politics of the position. She's having to deal with the men who resent her position. It started out horribly but is settling down and is an interesting who done it. [/quote]
