As someone who sells on FB marketplace pretty consistently

Search the good you're selling within 20 miles of your location then price it a bit lower than the others and and mention CASH ONLY in the description.

If someone comes in too low just ignore. If they're low-caste Indian or South Asian or lower class black- Ignore. Before anyone calls me racist I'm a minority and gotten burned too many times by those two groups. Your ideal buyer is an upwardly mobile young person (race doesn't matter) who sees a good future ahead of them so they won't rob you/be a threat BUT is not quite wealthy enough yet to buy things new.

Made a good amount of money following my own advice and never been robbed/burned on a deal.

If they try to insist on anything but cash before they come turn them away and if they say they don't have all the cash turn them away. If you've priced it lower as I suggested you'll have enough responses where the right person will come along eventually (usually within 2 weeks if you're within the beltway).
