OBD Port Hacking: Thieves break into the car and plug a specialized device into the On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) port. Signal Jamming: A thief uses a jamming device to block the signal when the owner tries to lock the car with their fob. Key Cloning/Emulators: Using "emulator" devices (sometimes disguised as handheld consoles or phones) thieves can intercept and copy the radio frequency code emitted by a key fob to create a digital clone.
