Icthammol ointment (20%) is sold over the counter... Found it at CVS in the first aid aisle. It's black and tar-like and smells awful but the pharmacist says it absolutely works. I think it's used to drain boils.

Good luck to anyone else that has these... not fun. Hopefully I don't have to go get it lanced or cut out next week. [/quote]
