That is gross. I would complain to a supervisor.
Yes, I think you have to do this It might help if it the person who speaks to the supervisor says that they are speaking on behalf of several employees, so it doesn't come across as a personal gripe. This is beyond nasty. You are sure it is conjuctivitis, and not some other non-contagious condition?
Yes, I am sure it is conjunctivitis as he said so, though he's not exactly been honest about it. First he said his doc said there was nothing to do for it and he was not contagious. Then he later said he has drops and that the drops are what make him non contagious. I'm no doctor, but I know that's not true, so he's clearly lying about what his doc said as no doc would say that. Everything online says it is contagious for weeks but that you are EXTREMELY contagious as long as you have symptoms. In this case, it seems reasonable to stay home while symptoms are present and then use extra caution for a while after that. (Plus, you're right, it is just nasty. I would be angry if anyone left any type of tissue on the printer, but seriously, a tissue that is literally wet with contagious matter? And the fiddling with things is almost unbelievable. It's almost like he wants to give it to other people. But more likely he just doesn't give a fuck. But that is wild to not even try to keep your hands to yourself. PP, i overheard his staffer asking him not to touch her things and he said she's overreacting. (I sit across from this whole area and see it all). I thought about telling HR but it's a small company and since one of his employees is really stressed over it, he'd conclude it was her.
