He was raised by and got some nurturing from the zookeepers, otherwise he probably wouldn't have thrived, because animals need attachment too. Baby monkeys die when they're isolated, even if given water, food, and shelter. :( Also glad he is getting the hang of being his own kind, even though there were some rough patches. [/quote]
