[/quote] If that happens, an easy way to get around it would be to take photos both of how close they are parked and of the exterior of their car BEFORE you get in your car. Then if they try to claim you damaged their car, you have evidence of their negligence in where they parked, plus can show the condition of their car before you got into yours. So they can't claim you caused an existing scratch or dent. Then if they complain, you just provide your evidence to the insurance company. They will probably want you to give them cash anyway and avoid insurance companies, but obviously don't do that.[/quote]
