Is it safe walking around there?[/quote] It's safe enough but the types of amenities you're seeking aren't currently available yet within walking distance of the Vienna Metro. If they are important to you, you'd be better served looking for something near a different Metro station (for example, Dunn Loring, West Falls Church, Ballston, Clarendon, etc.). There's a Harris Teeter near Dunn Loring, a Giant near West Falls Church, and grocery stores and restaurants near the Arlington stations as well. '[/quote]
