[/quote] A grown friend of mine recently learned he was 1/4 Jewish via his recently deceased father. Is he Jewish? Was his Dad?[/quote] Religiously Judaism passes through the mother. Ethnically though he would be considered Jewish. If he was living in 1930’s Europe, he would have been considered Jewish and sent to a camp. [/quote]
