This is a fallacy of thinking. It's very easy for a kid, even a younger adult, to find themselves in a compromising position these days without even realizing it. Sort of a moral/legal perversion of the sunk cost fallacy. Did you not get the message that these are very rich men and/or very powerful men who work together and who can basically pay/buy into any situation they want? And chances are they they've had many, many rounds of trial-and-error with other kids to fine tune their methods while your kid has had none? They can do phishing schemes or just pay someone in the same target demographic to befriend them. Always tell your kids to be wary and to not predict outcomes because the ones trying to scam them inherently are the ones actually forcing the outcomes, obviously pretty successfully according to the Files. It only takes one major misstep among a million different encounters. The internet is still pretty nascent and zoomers and gen alpha are its guinea pigs, and unfortunately the adults in the room have done a pretty piss poor job so far of monitoring it.[/quote]
