After learning more about the case surrounding Jeffrey Epstein, what lessons have you taken away, especially when it comes to protecting our children? Has it changed how you think about safety, awareness, or who you trust? I’d appreciate hearing your biggest takeaways and any practical steps you’re taking to safeguard your family.
Take away their smartphones until federal bans are enacted on social media. Seriously. It's a prisoner's dilemma so federal legislators (like those already in much of the developed world) need to make the hard choices to take the decision out of parents' hands and we all need to pressure them. Kids are more tech savvy than adults, they always will be, and in no hypothetical world will your children be unable to outsmart you the parent, with help from apps developed by the very same tech bros gooning on the same demographic in the Epstein Files. Did Grok not give everyone the latest kick in the ass? Or else do you also casually leave dime bags of coke, meth, and heroin, along with loaded guns, all around the house because you know your kids are sophisticated enough to make the "right" decision about those, too? Of course these examples are more extreme, but they're also not as ubiquitous and insidious as online threats.
