BTW since you are military, I just want to mention there are quite a few excellent military boarding schools in the VA area - and they are much more economical than most of the day privates in the area.  We looked strongly at Fork Union Military School for our son, but in the end thought it was too far away and he was too young.  There's also Fischburn (sp) academy in Staunton, which we toured.   And many others.  It's a unique opportunity that Virginia offers and some of those kids make a clean sweep of the Ivies when it comes to application time.  [/quote]
