The 40% urea I slather on afterward is supposed to soften the skin and keep it from thickening again, but maybe I don't use it often enough: the one I have has a scent and thick texture I don't like, and I hate having to wear socks to bed :-) I only remember to do it when my heels start to bother me... Perhaps if I were diligent about it, it would actually work better. This is why the idea of a foot peel I can do every 3 months is interesting to me. [/quote]
