Car share has been tried and is barely successful. Uber and Lyft do not remove cars from garages and actually increase traffic. Taxpayers don't like funding even successful public transit and would rather wfh than commute on it. America outside of a few large cities requires cars. Nobody is going to walk or go back to farm wagons.[/quote]
