Going on our seventh year now. I'm the wife and the one with an extramarital relationship.  We were having problems in our marriage before I started the affair. The affair hasn't helped the marriage, but it's made me personally much happier. DH has adopted a "don't ask, don't tell" regarding the specifics.  He's like a lot of the wives who post on this forum - not interested in regular sex, secretly relieved that he doesn't have to meet all my needs, so long as I don't rub it in his face.  Children have no idea - they are late elementary school aged.  None of my business what they do as adults. Ideally, if they get married, their marriage would meet all of their needs, but if not, this is not the worst outcome.[/quote]
