[/quote] The data was posted in another thread and January was the slowest for the past couple of years. I think people perceive otherwise because everyone seems to be on high alert for new listings as agents tell people that “spring” starts after the superbowl. We’ve now had a few threads where people ask where the listings are and the truth is that January is very slow. Can you imagine trying to have painters come over now? How would you air the house out in sub freezing temps while they work? Or having contractors do repairs on the exterior of your house? It’s a really tough time for sellers to get it all together especially coming out of the holidays not to mention the inconvenience of the actual move in these temperatures. [/quote]
