We went out to eat today at North Italia (Foggy Bottom), but just ordered off the regular menu without getting the prix fixe at $55 pp. It just seemed like too much food, and I suspected it wasn't going to be great food anyway. I was right, the dishes were a bit disappointing.
I dont know why you’d choose a mid chain for restaurant week.
Because I'd promised my GW college kid a restaurant meal tonight near his campus, and he was in the mood for pasta :-) I didn't actually realize it was restaurant week until we were handed the special menu...
So you didn’t actually go for restaurant week. So weird to comment on this post then. But since you did, I will say this is an average chain with locations in the suburbs. Very odd with the other good Italian options in the city that the restaurant would choose to open in foggy bottom. It is not cheap by any means.
