Anyone knows the difference between self-directed vs online campus Econ and Personal Finance course? Remember some kids select this course during 8th grade summer. What is the purpose of doing this? Is it a high school requirement course? Or if you are not aiming for Finance or related major, you don't have to select this course? Another question: Can you select more than one course during 8th grade summer? Thank you!
Only self directed EPF for pass/fail can be taken in addition to a for-grade credit course like PE, Lang, math, etc. The other online campus version is for-grade, and most of content is also self-paced but depending on teacher, they meet at specific time during the week. EPF is virgina-state mandated requirement, but can also be met with AP econ macro/micro taken for grade.
