Students can tell the truth without violating the privacy of their fellow students.  The students who posted broke a lot of rules about taping people without their knowledge/consent and posting those videos on the internet, again without the consent of the students in those videos who were in the summers class and are now online for all to see.

Yes -but you didn’t acknowledge the prior point.  Harvard is not defending the actions of Larry Summers.  They are investigating the actions of students who taped their fellow students in a class without their knowledge and consent and posted it on the internet-without their knowledge and consent.

You can rant about the actions of Larry summer but all that info was in the public domain in media stories before the students posted the unauthorized videos. [/quote]
