When I pulled my kids out a friend was pulling her kids out too.  A lot of people were and they re-opened the lottery in October because they had so many spots to fill.  They also eliminated the  counselor position and there was talk about the librarian going half-time.

When I took my kids out I was given a very hard time and they refused to give me the paperwork until they felt I was certain and I had spoken to the principal.  When I finally got them to agree to giving me the transfer papers we arranged a specific time for me to go in and get them.  When I got there the papers weren't ready and I was told that they weren't sure it was my final answer.  Then when they transferred the paperwork they left out things like grades and my kid's IEP.[/quote]
