[/quote] De-emphasizing the Spanish department is doing TJ freshman a favor. It was an unnecessarily difficult class that dragged down too many students. He is promoting more AP classes but from what I can tell, the rigor is exactly the same as the regular classes from prior years. AP Math, AP English, AP History. He is relieving a long standing GPA weighting issue that didn't reflect rigor.[/quote]
