Make sure your kids are quiet during quiet hours, which it sounds like you do.

For your own peace of mind, review your lease for language about noise complaints. In my building, as long as you were in compliance with the floor covering requirements and keep quiet hours, noise complaints were toothless. I tried to be a good neighbor, but there’s only so much you can do with young children.

My suggestion is to do your best but let your kids be kids. I found a white noise machine a great way to help babies sleep in a noisy apartment building. [/quote]
