But this difference makes me feel a little self-conscious. I'm paranoid about mentioning my kids too much or just not fitting in because my lifestyle is a bit different as a mom. I'm also one of only a couple married people in the group, but this seems like less of a big deal.

Any words of wisdom on how to make sure I don't screw this up? Would love to hear from people who aren't parents or parents who are part of social groups like this where they are the only one. I'm a bit surprised to discover this is harder than I though, or that I'm so aware of this difference.[/quote]
