You should have him tested for serum folate, for mthfr mutations and for Fraa. I would also seek out any other known caused of folate deficiency from a specialist. Having adequate blood folate doesnt rule out problems in enzyme activity or other genetic or immune system disorders that can cause poor utilization of folate. [/quote]
