[/quote] Not to scare you OP, but a friend had HSV and ended up having an anencephalic baby which was stillborn (or perhaps aborted) in the 8th month. The whole situation was tragic. She and her DH went on to have 3 typically developing pregnancies and deliveries. But, it is important to know that herpes during pregnancy can cause serious birth defects. [/quote]
