No worries for now as there are plenty CS electives and I personally never heard of any kids skipping the algorithm course. Not sure about the new freshmen next year as the regional model is going to hit really hard at electives. My DC was already at USACO silver and had a very good standing on leetcode and codeforces leadboards when entering 9th grade. He didn't ask to skip foundation A, which turned out to be a relaxing time during the day when other courseloads were pretty heavy for a freshmen. [/quote]
