Winter classic doesn’t have cut times, but is the fast meet for some area clubs and the coaches pick who swims in each age group. Katie Ledecky is the fast meet for other area clubs. There are cut times. It’s an extremely fast meet attracting talent from outside the area. There is an annual argument on this thread comparing winter classic to Katie Ledecky (formerly NCAP Invitational). They both have fast kids, but KL is faster. It’s plausible that the A finalists at winter classic may not make finals at all at KL, at least at the Open level. [/quote]
