Supervisors can authorize as much telework as they want so long as they are willing to take the risk. It’s not the employee who will take the blame, but rather the supervisor who authorized the action.[/quote]

PP who has been situationally teleworking all year. My supervisor approves it every pay period. They have written permission from their supervisor to authorize the telework. I code the telework in the payroll system and both my supervisor and their supervisor has eyes on that. Beyond that, I don't know if anyone else has signed off on it, but we are not hiding it. Overall, our department still has a lot of in person employees, it is just that a few of us, with particular responsibilities, get a "lot" of telework.[/quote]
