My kid was in a magnet at one point and we discussed moving with the admins. They said it would be likely we could switch to the magnet on the other side of the county. In our case it was switching to the less-dense one and it was several years ago (more selective process, pandemic-ish times). You'd have to talk to admins on both sides and have someone to advocate for you. [/quote]
