I also used mindfulness meditation and and loving kindness. I think a big part of your success has to do with trusting your therapist and yourself. Trust is a tough one for people with PTSD. If you learn that there is help and you can find help that is trustful and committed, you can feel better. As a side, if you are with the wrong therapist, change.
