[/quote] +1 same for me. Cobra is 200 more than the ACA plan, and the kicker is that the Cobra plan is a "gold" PPO plan, but the ACA plan is a HDP silver plan. The reason is because the "group" the cobra plan is in is quite large whereas insurance companies purposefully keep the group for individual plans tiny, so the risk is not spread out as much. I've had ACA in the past as we had been self employed for a while, even before ACA. Paying for private has always been expense. Pre ACA 15 years ago, I was paying $800 for a hdp for family of 4. Now, it's like $1500. The medical plans in this country .. in the words of my teens.. SUCK A$$.[/quote]
